About Search America, LLC

A Letter From The Principal

As a young child I realized the power of someone contacting someone else via phone (there was no e-mail then) and changing someone’s entire life for the better. My father was a senior executive and, before a lot of people that stayed with the same company for thirty years waiting for their "gold watch”, he went to another company when there was a better opportunity elsewhere. That’s how I first learned what an executive recruiter can do: one call and my whole family moved across the country or out of the country for a better opportunity for my father – and our family. Little did I know at the time how that recruiter and that one initial phone call helped his employers too!

After 20 years this year, I still find executive search very exciting! I love working with a new search and strategizing how and where to find the right candidate. I love speaking to clients and finding out what and why they have a need and helping them to formulate what is best for their company. After 20 years, I still cannot sleep at night waiting to work on a great search!
